Proteste contro i SUV in Francia.

Un gruppo di attivisti francesi denominati Les Dégonflés (Gli Sgonfiati) hanno lanciato una campagna contro i proprietari di SUV parigini. Di notte gruppi di Dégonflés si aggirano per le strade cittadine sgonfiando le gomme di tutti i SUV che trovano parcheggiati sulle strade dei quartieri ricchi cittadini.
Motivo dell'azione è protestare contro l'utilizzo dei grossi fuoristrada inquinanti, ingombranti e soprattutto grandi consumatori di carburante.
Anche negli USA in passato ci sono state molte proteste contro il dilagare della moda dei SUV.
In Italia per ora mi sembra che, al di là di qualche brontolio generale e di qualche post di Grillo sul suo blog, nulla si stia muovendo.

Des 4x4 bruxellois "dégonflés"
ve 21/10/05 - Des commandos écolos, baptisée les "Flagadas", dégonflent les pneus d'une quarantaine de véhicules de type 4x4 dans les beaux quartiers de Bruxelles. Pour cette organisation, les 4x4 consomment trop de carburant, et polluent l'atmosphère.

Les Flagadas sont principalement composés d'écologistes opposés aux véhicules tout-terrain. Leur organisation aurait des racines françaises.

Les 4x4 consomment plus de carburant que les autres voitures. Ces véhicules ont également une réputation de gros pollueurs d'atmosphère.

Certains ont décidé de passer à l'action. En suivant un exemple venu de France, ils ont ainsi dégonflé les pneus d'une quarantaine de véhicules tout-terrain.

Pour arriver à leurs fins, les auteurs ont procédé à l'aide de plombs de chasse.

Une certaine "Annick Tamère" à revendiqué l'action bruxelloise sur internet. Elle menace notamment la capitale d'un "dégonflement général".

Selon la police, l'action du week-end a principalement touché le haut de la commune bruxelloise de Forest.

Notons ce week-end que les agents ont refusé d'acter les faits. Il ne s'agirait en effet pas d'une infraction.

　パリ発――環境破壊を警戒する人々の集まりが、フランスをはじめとするヨーロッパ諸国でSUV(スポーツタイプ多目的車)の販売が急増していることに対し、過激とまではいかないが断固たる姿勢を示している。ガソリンを大量に消費するSUVのタイヤの空気を抜き(写真)、あからさまな無駄使いに抗議しているのだ。

　『レ・デゴンフレ』というグループは最近、富裕層が多いパリ6区の路上に駐車していた数台のSUVのタイヤから、自転車用の空気ポンプの部品を使って空気を抜き、「ほぼすべての人が酸素マスクを必要としている」と書かれたちらしをフロントガラスに貼った(写真)という。自転車用ポンプを使うのは、車に大きなダメージを与えないようにするためだとしている。グループの広報担当者は、来月にはインターネット放送でこの方法を実演し、協力者を集めるつもりだと述べた。

　この広報担当者は匿名を条件に、次のように述べた。「われわれは、科学者や専門家がSUVの有害性を公に(発表)できるような議論を始めることによって、 SUVに烙印を押す必要がある。われわれはSUVを富の象徴のように見てほしくない。愚か者と関係があるものだととらえてほしいのだ」

　この広報担当者はワイアード・ニュースに対し、フランスの刑法では、SUVのタイヤの空気を抜くことは犯罪行為にあたらないと説明した。この見解は、『グリーンピース』などの環境保護団体を支援する複数の弁護士から得た法律に関する助言に基づくものだという。唯一のリスクは、SUVの所有者から民事訴訟を起こされるケースだが、SUVの所有者はこの場合、民事裁判所で物的損害を証明しなければならないと、この広報担当者は述べた。

　レ・デゴンフレによる攻撃の背景には、ヨーロッパでSUVの販売台数が伸びていることがある。ヨーロッパ有数の自動車業界団体である欧州自動車工業会によると、欧州連合(EU)加盟国の登録車両にSUVが占める割合は、1998年の3.2％から昨年末の6.5％へと2倍以上に増加したという。

　ヨーロッパにおけるSUVの販売は、米国人ならショックを受けそうなガソリン価格が続くなか好調を維持している。たとえばフランスでは、ハリケーン『カトリーナ』の影響で先週からガソリン価格が上昇しはじめたが、その前から1リットルあたり1ドル70セントを超えていた。『ハマーH2』でガソリンを満タンにして約500キロメートル走るのに、210ドル以上もかかる計算になる。ただし、これはメーカーが公表している数字に基づくもので、起伏の緩やかな地形の舗装道路を時速約50キロで走るという条件だ。

　レ・デゴンフレは抗議行動の企画に郵便を利用しており、あるオンラインフォーラムを見るよう指示する手紙を「友達の友達」へと送っているという。このオンラインフォーラムで次回の行動の詳細が伝えられるそうだ。レ・デゴンフレの声明や通信は、『ラ・ブリガード・アンチパブ』(反広告隊)、『アンチバニョール・コム』(クルマ反対)のフォーラムなど、フランス語で書かれたさまざまなオンラインフォーラムにも掲載されている。

　しかし、レ・デゴンフレのメッセージは環境活動家に広く受け入れられているわけではない。グリーンピースなどの環境保護団体の代理人を務める弁護士のアレクサンドル・ファロ氏は、フランスをはじめとするヨーロッパ諸国でのSUVの人気には「ぞっとする」と言うが、同時にレ・デゴンフレは標的を絞りすぎだと批判している。

　「他人の所有物の破壊には賛成できないし、こうした行動が建設的だとは思わない。環境を汚染している乗り物はSUVだけではない」と、ファロ氏は語った。

Anti 4x4 : les flagadas préparent activement une Grande Nuit de la Dégonfle Généralisée

Notre mouvement de libération nationale de l'air comprimé vient de passer à une nouvelle étape de sa jeune existence.

Dans la nuit du 23 au 24 octobre, deux équipes de Flagadas ont, pendant deux heures, à Uccle et Watermael-Boistfort, dégonflé les pneus et maculé de boue 34 SUV et autres monstrueux 4x4.

Après notre opération-test de la semaine dernière (12 véhicules touchés) et quelques actions individuelles, nous passons à l'échauffement avant d'aborder prochainement une Grande Nuit de la Dégonfle Généralisée où nous espérons dépasser le record de 118 4x4 dégonflés en une nuit détenus par nos cousins parisiens « Les Dégonflés » et ainsi leur arracher le Trophée Christophe Pinoncely.

SUV Drivers Beware: Paris Can Be A Deflating Experience

Drivers of SUVs in Paris are being targeted by a group of activists letting down their tyres because of anger at the disproportionate amount of pollution the big four-wheel drive vehicles produce, the French newspaper Liberation reported Friday.

"We don't puncture them, we just let the air out, because that way, legally, we're not risking a lot," it quoted one of the unidentified activists as saying.

He said the group, which calls itself the Deflators, decided on its nighttime valve raids because "four-wheel-drive owners know they're polluting twice as much as other vehicles but they don't care, and city authorities are powerless to fight them because of the strength of the automobile lobby."

The action came after Paris City Hall, dominated by pro-environment Socialist and Green councillors, did a U-turn on an idea to ban SUVs from the capital's streets after fierce opposition from driving associations, which called it discriminatory.

"Our attitude will probably spark hateful reactions. But what we're looking for is a citizen's debate, a dialogue, to remind people that four-wheel-drives in the city are harmful to the environment," the unnamed activist said.

The group has promised to make a video of its tyre strikes available on the Internet within the next month with the aim of inspiring the same action in other French cities.
